Before you swap.
Understand the route, the information shared and the provider’s role, all here on Tornado Swap.
Routing service policies
Tornado Swap requests quotes through a routing service. The provider you select receives your deposit and carries out the exchange. Tornado Swap does not hold your wallet keys or execute the conversion.
Quotes and availability
Typing an amount requests an estimate. Available routes appear when you click Find the best route. A listed pair may become unavailable or have different limits when you request a live quote.
Floating rates can change before completion. Fixed rates depend on the provider’s deposit deadline, exact amount and other conditions. Your wallet may charge a separate network fee.
Verification and refunds
Providers may review transactions or request identity checks. Privacy ratings describe reported practices; they do not guarantee a transaction without verification. Refund eligibility, fees and timing depend on the provider and transaction.
This is a service summary. The routing service’s and selected provider’s own terms and privacy policies still apply; this page does not replace them.

Information used for a swap
A quote request shares the coin pair, networks, amount and provider-rating preference with the routing service. Creating a swap also sends receiving and refund addresses, required memos and the selected provider. Tracking uses your swap ID.
The interface does not ask for an account, seed phrase or private key. Infrastructure serving the site can receive technical request information, including an IP address and browser details. This is not a promise of anonymous use or zero logging.
Retention and provider records
The routing service describes a 14-day retention period for trade details, with earlier deletion on request. It may retain some technical or unresolved support records longer. Separate providers can retain their own transaction records under their policies; the 14-day period does not cover every party.
Blockchain transactions remain subject to their network’s visibility and cannot be erased by deleting a swap record. Keep the records you need, and treat your swap ID and addresses as sensitive information.
Using Tornado Swap
Eligibility
Use is subject to applicable law and routing and provider restrictions. The routing service excludes minors and users located in, resident in or citizens of the United States or European Economic Area, as well as restricted or sanctioned jurisdictions. Providers can impose additional restrictions. A visible quote does not establish eligibility.
Before depositing
Check the provider, rate type, sending and receiving networks, amounts, addresses, memos and deadline. Send only the specified asset on the specified network. Incorrect deposits may be unrecoverable. Save your swap ID before sending funds.
Completion and support
Confirmation times, exchange completion and refunds depend on the network and provider. Estimates are not guarantees. Tornado Swap cannot reverse a blockchain transfer or override a provider’s review.
